![]() ![]() There was some tweaking involved.like the drum midi from Toontrack, sometimes it is just too busy. It came out really well and was way beyond my keyboard abilities. I"ve also used some of the country midi files for a chorus build and solo. As a guitarist who really sucks at piano, it helps to have this as a starting point. I hope I learn something here because I'm a crappy piano hack myself! I've found that I can start writing a pretty cool sounding song around the midi files. I guess I can understand the appeal of that for drum grooves, but I'm having a hard time seeing how it could be very efficient to take a midi piano bit and try to edit it for use into one of my songs. I'm probably missing something but what's the big deal about midi files? Addictive Keys (well, all vstis) will play back from midi info either played or programmed into a track in the host program, right? So we must be talking about pre-recorded midi info. ![]()
